Welcome to Canning Arts Group
Canning Arts Group is a not-for-profit self funded community based organisation serving the community for more than 50 years by providing art classes to adults and children in the Perth area.
The Canning Arts Group is a great place to have fun, learn some great skills in pottery (wheel and hand work), painting (all mediums), framing and crafts.
Art Classes and Workshops are offered to members and the general public including adults, children and people with disabilities and special needs.
Gallery and Gift Shop
Giftware and artworks are on display and available for sale in our gallery, which is open to the public Monday to Friday 9.30am - 1pm.
A variety of beautiful artwork including framed and unframed prints, canvas painting, pottery and ceramics, slumped glass, jewellery and much more are also available for purchase!
Canning Speakers Rostrum Club
Learn to speak confidently in public life and wherever you are and in whatever you do. Overcome nerves, improve confidence, and learn the skills needed to debate effectively and chair a meeting.
The Canning Speakers Club; affiliated to Rostrum WA, offers a unique facilitation service which will unlock access to your hidden abilities. The club will improve your ability to speak clearly, concisely and persuasively.
New members work through a professionally designed training program of exercises and receive feedback on their progress by accredited coaches.
The Club is located at the Canning Arts Centre on the corner of Riley Road and High Road, Riverton. Meetings begin at 6:15 pm every Thursday evening.
Cost: $250 First Year
As a potential member you may attend three meetings as a visitor – without any obligation to join.
