Exhibitions at the Canning Arts Group

Visiting artists and student exhibitions are held by CAG throughout the year.

When the gallery is not hosting exhibitions, a member is invited to be 'Artist of the Month' to promote their art or craft. Advertising in the newspaper promotes these artists.

We exhibit at shopping centres and our local library where artwork and giftware may be purchased.

The Canning Art Award is open to all artists. This prestigious Art Award is held mid year. The Canning Art Group organizes this event with the City of Canning being its major sponsor. Click here for last year's winners.

A culmination of the members' artwork is presented in our annual Sale of Work, held two weeks prior to Christmas.
 
Canning Art Award

This prestigious and well-known Award well be held on 30 April to 2nd May 2010. The major sponsor is the City of Canning. The theme for 2010 will be "The River in Canning" . Entry Information and Entry Forms will be available form this web page shortly.

Christmas Sale of work

The Christams Sale of Work dates for 2010 will be held from the 4th December to the 19th December, 10am till 4pm daily. This is a fabulous opportunity for the public to purchase some local hand crafted items for Christmas.
