Welcome to the Canning Arts Group

Canning Arts Group is a not- for - profit self funded community based organisation that has been serving the community for 40 years, by providing art classes to adults and children in the Perth area.

The Canning Arts Group is a great place to have fun, learn some great skills in pottery (wheel and hand work), painting (all mediums), framing and crafts.

Giftware and artwork are continually displayed for sale in our gallery, which is open to the public Monday to Friday 9.30-2.30.

Art Classes and Workshops are offered to members and the general public including adults, children and people with disabilities and special needs.

Gala Day 2012- It's Child's Play (for Young and Old)

Planning is currently in the process for the wonderful day filled with art, crafts and fun.

Canning Art Award

This prestigious and well-known Award well be held on 8th June to 17th June 2012.

The major sponsor is the City of Canning. The theme for 2012 Acquisitive Award is the "Essence of Canning" .

Conditions of Entry Information and Entry Forms will be available now.

The catergoreis include Works on Paper, Works on Canvas, Mixed Media, 3d-any media and Youth(13-18).
